Let’s imagine a very simple scenario. Since many of you share accounts, you all see what email address is linked to an account. You wait until the real owner (the person who actually owns that email) becomes inactive for a few weeks or months. Then you come to us, tell us the story that the account is yours, you even know the email address, but you “just can’t log in anymore”.

We help you, change the email for you… and then a few weeks later the real owner shows up asking why his email got changed and why he suddenly lost access to his own account.

Sure, it’s partly his fault too for sharing his account in the first place. But we’re not going to help anyone scam or steal accounts. That’s exactly why we do not change emails under any circumstances.

Either you can log into the email linked to the account and change it yourself, or that account is simply gone. If you created a separate email just for the account, it’s still your responsibility to log into it regularly. If you let it go inactive for years and it gets deactivated, that’s not something we can fix.

If you didn’t log into your email for years and Microsoft deactivated it, that’s not on us. I really don’t get why this is being mixed together with the fact that you were banned.

Being banned from the server doesn’t mean you stop checking your emails. People use their email for tons of things, so it’s normal to check it regularly. If you didn’t, and the email got shut down, that’s unfortunately your issue, not something we can fix.

We’re not your email provider, we have zero control over what happens to your personal email accounts.

Like I said, your ban and your inactive email have nothing to do with each other.

@NeoNRiptiDe the actual latest version (23951) could have problems in it, that's why the maximum recommended (23881) is set on gto. You can download that version only from the link I gave, the main page, the multitheftauto.com's download button is also using the very latest version (23951) which could be unstable. I don't even know why don't they automatically set the maximum recommended version there.

How many times do I need to explain this?

None of the Turkish accounts will ever be unbanned, and especially not you. You attacked this server, you were the one who spread the cheat, so you are the last person who will ever get mercy.

One and a half years ago we tried to ban people by checking which accounts actually belonged to them. What we found was that a single serial had dozens of accounts linked to it. The email addresses sometimes matched, sometimes didn't. We checked the accounts as well, and every single one of them had 20-50 or even more than 100 serials attached. After that there was no way to determine even simple questions like how many Turkish players there are actually, which account belongs to one person, etc.

So we made the decision to ban the entire country, because even if we lost some innocent players, it was still worth it if it meant protecting the rest of the community.

One and a half years passed, and since many of you managed to join anyway using elite VPNs, the country ban was removed. But the accounts will stay banned, because that is the only punishment which targets the real bad guys like you and the others. Even if still - some innocent people's account is now banned, the ban will stay.
And it was not only you who cheated, several other Turkish players used the cheat you shared.

This is why we have repeated thousands of times that you should only play on your own accounts. Do not log into someone else’s account, do not buy or sell accounts. We want to see accounts with one or two serials at most, leveled from 0 to 100 by a single person, and no one else ever logging into them.

But clearly you have not learned anything from this. Even now you are sharing accounts with everyone, trading them, selling them. So you must accept the responsibility that if it happens again, accounts will be banned.

We know that there are accounts innocently banned which are belonging to "normal" players, as they say, but those accounts belonged to a cheater at some point. So we reserve the right to not believe the stories you guys make up, like “it was not me”, “this is my account, not his”, and so on. It also does not matter when you logged in into a questionable account, because it still belongs to you.

@HomeMade So tell me, how can you actually prove that someone is using aimbot or no recoil if we cannot see their point of view and we have no idea where they are aiming? We can barely see the bullets either. So how exactly would you prove it?
This is not Counter Strike where you have a replay system. Just because you fought him and it looked extremely suspicious, and you feel convinced that you are right, it still does not mean you have undeniable proof.

In the past I also had a very strong suspicion about someone, but I never had any solid proof. For example, once someone killed me with a sawn off at the dm98 startpoint with a single shot from around fifty meters, even though the Patriot was in front of me and I was completely behind cover. He had just stepped out from behind the buildings there, and the whole thing happened in a fraction of a second. I later jailed that player for something else. Since then people keep saying that you cannot fight me because I will give ban or jail. The truth is that everyone knows exactly how impossible it is to prove cheating, so it is not an exaggeration to say that around 95% of players use some kind of cheat.

asturel made the decision that we only ban the account that was actually used for cheating. I do not see any other video where he is cheating on his other accounts. Personally I agree with chain banning, and I also believe that if someone uses hacks they will use them on all of their accounts, but I am not the one who makes the rules. We simply have to follow what asturel decides.

This was one of the reasons why I left about one and a half years ago. If you wonder why I am here now, it is only temporary. I spent hours tracking cheaters (anass) When I finally caught him, I banned all of his accounts but asturel said only one account. He expects us to catch him on every single one of them. Later he bought unban for his ip and serial and he did it multiple times since then as well whenever he gets banned or jailed.

The only reason we caught this guy is because he recorded himself while using the cheat. There is no other way to catch this type of hack.

@Castilo Even though these got banned before asturel's decision about chain bans, I now unban some of these.

Better stays in ban because this was used in the pms where you said you use aimbot.

shared the same ban reason and since 2 years passed, I don't know if any of these was legitimally banned before or not ( I do see 4M. was banned before but the reasons were attacked by others too )
So these got unbanned and jailed for 7 days

@SlammingTanks4186 Yes, he is totally rude, unfriendly but I don't like talking about people behind their back so lets end this. I just shared a little story about him which involved my experiences talking to him.

Based on these experiences all I can say is that he often makes false accusations based on his poorly motivation towards people who reach him. If you have to express your problem in detail then you are doomed, he won't gonna read if your message is more than one line.

If your opponent has high ping, something like 200 to 250 or even above 300, then of course it becomes much harder for you to kill him, especially since your ping is also high. However, you also become harder to be killed, so the fight is more balanced in that situation. My comparison was specifically about low ping players versus high ping players. High ping versus high ping is still bad, but at least it is more balanced because both of you hard to kill for each other.

@BakiCan05 the account is banned for stating not insulting. Stating accounts are stat reseted and unbanned once or twice a year. We usually wait till a certain amount of accounts get banned

The best you can try is to ask Dutchman101 for a new serial, altough I think you have only 1% chance to even get in contact with him. And even if you manage somehow, he would probably blame you for sharing your accounts on gto with others & getting yourself banned to get your serial exposed. He might also say that we shouldn't show serials in public but the reason for that is answered in the link I gave

Keep in mind that you have around 20 ping while he has about 200. Your hitbox matches your visible skin, but his hitbox appears far behind his actual skin. This makes it much harder for you to hit him, while it is easier for him to hit you.

Your chance of landing a headshot is around 80 percent, or 40 percent if he has armor. His chance is also 80/40 percent as long as his ping does not go above 199. If it goes slightly higher, his chance becomes 66.7/33.35 percent. Even with ping above 300 he still would have 35/17.5 percent chance to land a headshot. Ping over 400 has 0% chance.

During these 15 years I asked asturel many times to change these chances or to modify the headshot system entirely, but he always refused. About ten years ago, when we disabled headshots for a few days, everyone came to IRC to complain. So the meta here is basically to have around 190 ping, because you still keep the 80/40 chance while your hitbox becomes completely broken.

In fact, I noticed that lag related to ping becomes a real problem around 60 ms. That is the point where, if you shoot at your opponent’s head (center) while he is running sideways, you will not hit his actual hitbox. The center of your sawed off crosshair needs to be at the back of his skull. At 100 ping, the crosshair has to be fully behind his head, and at 200 ping it needs to be around one and a half meters behind him.

The guy in the video had around 300 to 305 ms.

Because of these lag issues, fighting high ping players is completely unfair and unbalanced. They still manage to complain that their chance drops to 66.7/33.35 above 200 ping, while they are the ones with the advantage. They even claim that low ping players have the upper hand, when the reality is the complete opposite. They only need to aim directly at the visible head of our skin, while we have to estimate a different distance for every single shot.

I would also believe this looks like aimbotting. The account was banned, but we had to unban it because asturel wants us to only ban one account. He expects us to catch cheaters on all of their accounts.

When you suspect aimbotting there is nothing you or we can really do. Videos like this do not help because we cannot see where the shots actually went, and more importantly we cannot see his perspective. Even if we spectated him he would not use the cheat because he would know he is being watched. And even if he did use it, it would not change much because in spectator mode you cannot see where he aims. The only thing you might barely notice is no recoil or no spread, and that is only visible with UZI or TEC9 either.

@DEAD_GHOST we can't help you if he gives back the ban. The new rule has been added to gto and shared on the forum.

You may ask help from mta ac team to maybe generate you a new serial on mta dc, but I don't think they will. If you get banned again we can not help you anymore read the new rule and understand it

What if others ban your serial?

I've spoken with asturel today and he made a final judgment and proclamation which I will now deliver to you :

We removed the ban from the two serials involved in the recent incident, but this was the first and the last time. Since the attacker already knows these two serials, he will simply reapply the ban sooner or later. We cannot help with that.

The banlist must remain visible so you can see when your ban expires or why you were banned. We cannot make it private under any circumstances. You are responsible for any serials visible in your player settings.

We have been saying for a long time that players who share accounts will not receive any assistance. If you shared your account and, because of that, your serial became visible to potential attackers, we will not help you.

This is why everyone must understand the following:

DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD. DO NOT PLAY ON SOMEONE ELSE’S ACCOUNT. ONLY USE YOUR OWN ACCOUNT AND NEVER GIVE IT TO ANYONE.

If you end up on the banlist for any reason, it means you have done something wrong as a player. Even if you eventually get unbanned, that is simply the consequence of your actions. We cannot and will not help in such situations.
