Server update, expect downtime

Hi guys,
We're planning to update the server from MTA 1.5 to 1.6. Sadly the server is very very old (haven't even rebooted for 2000+ days), which makes impossible to update MTA without updating the server OS as well.
This means everything (web, forum, gameserver, etc..) will be down during the "update". There will be no big announcement(s) before, if the server is down, we're probably upgrading it. I don't know how long will it take, I'm planning to reinstall the whole server rather than trying to update a 10+ years old linux.
Don't worry, your progress wont be lost/affected.
Also we're switching to more recent hardware (Premium Intel/AMD CPU)p.s.: You don't need to stop playing until the update starts, we're announce it ingame, and your progress wont be lost!
p.s. 2.: we don't now exactly when its gonna happen (when I have time..
